Dr. Garrett will do a spinal assessment to determine which areas of the spine are subluxated (out of place). After the assessment he will perform a gentle and specific spinal adjustment to the affected spinal segments. Sometimes when an adjustment is performed you may hear and/or feel a "click" or "pop". This is called a cavitation. You may not always hear the adjustment, but that does not mean the adjustment didn't happen. The popping that is some times heard is not the goal of the adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to move the subluxated bone/bones which takes pressure off a spinal nerve and allows the spine to move better. This allows your body to move, function and feel better!

Dr. Garrett Knuckles is a Cincinnati native. He attended Little Miami High School. While playing football he suffered an injury which ultimately lead him to seek chiropractic care for the first time.

The chiropractor found a fracture in Dr. Garrett’s lower back which was causing pressure on his spinal cord. This pressure was causing lower back pain and weakness into his legs. The care and ultimate healing of his issues are what inspired him to become a chiropractor.

“I was always interested in health care and I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could help people and make a difference in their lives. Once I realized how much chiropractic care could help, I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor and help people with the same type of care that saved me from a life time of back surgeries.”

After graduating from high school he attended Ohio University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a focus on community health. He then attended Life University in Marietta, Ga where he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

He has been providing chiropractic care to the Cincinnati area for nearly 10 years. He is passionate about helping people get back to living a happy, healthy and pain free life!
